The Reyes Family
This was a first for me. I have not done a portrait session with a pet before this day. I can't remember what kind a dog she is but she was HUGE and is only a pup at 9 months old! I got to go back home to Morenci/Clifton for this shoot and I just love shooting down chase creek. There are so many cool textures there. We shot there for about 30 minutes then moved out to the "boonies" where the Reyeses live. These were some of my favorite shots! Love setting sun light and mountains. Here are just a few of my favs from the session.
6 Month Cutie Pie
Here is another one of "our" babies. Baby "P's" mommy and daddy have her on our 1 year program. Which is my reason for saying "our" babies. I almost feel like they are because I get to see them grow. The last time I saw baby "P" she was only 3 months. She wasn't movin' much but NOW she is a movin' MACHINE!! She had me and momma working pretty hard in the beginning but began to slow down after an hour of shooting. Even with all that moving around we got some great shots. Here are a few of my favs from the session.

Maternity Session-Cassandra & Luis
Just shortly after my very first maternity session, I had another. I was SO pleased with our session. Luis was not only a great model he was an AWESOME assistant. He worked the fan, held my reflector and even helped out making the dress out of 1 piece of material. Cassandra got really fatigue towards the end of the session and needed to sit down. Well, I kept shooting and got one of my favorite images out of the session. Here are a few of my favorite images.

Maternity Session-Martin & Ericka
I finally did it! I photographed my first Maternity Session last month in October. This one was especially special to me because it was for my brother who will be having his first baby in December. I'll admit I was a bit nervous but Ericka's confidence in me got me through it. I'm so excited to meet my nephew! Here are some of my favs from the session.

Baby "M" 3 month session
I finally had the pleasure of meeting baby "M" in October. Her grandma bought her mom and dad a gift card for their baby shower. I'm so glad she did!! This little girl was such a HAM. Here are a few of my favs from the session.

I just went through some of my 2 year-olds birthday session again because I am designing her pages to go in the "annual" Maxwell Kids' photo album. I came across these images that I just LOVE and I am wondering how I missed these the first time! Here were some of my new faves that I found from her session.

My Baby's New Kicks
6 Years of Saving!
The two oldest kids and I did a LOT of coin sorting. We have been collecting coins for that last 5 or 6 years in a water jug. We told the kids that this was going to be our vacation money. When the jug got full we would cash all the coins in and take them on a vacation. Well, the jug got full and we spent a good couple of hours sorting money.
First we dumped some change into these small plates. My son was in charge of taking all the pennies out of his plate while my daughter and I sorted what was on our plates AND what was left over in brother’s plate.

This was our sorting system.
