A Future Photographer

I had the opportunity to show Elizabeth, who is an aspiring photographer, what we do at our portrait sessions by giving her a mock session. She is a junior high student in Las Vegas who loves taking pictures and had mentioned to me that this is something she is interested in studying and someday having as a career. We had lots of fun on our photo shoot. She was such a joy to work with, and I was glad to inspire her to continue with photography. Here were some of the images that we got.

Sallee Photography Seminar

Joe and I had the pleasure of attending the I Shoot People tour with the Sallee’s. They are a married couple from Dallas who are very successful wedding photographers. They shared with us what worked for them and what didn’t. They gave us some fresh ideas on creating wedding albums. If you would like to check out this hip young couple and their work visit their website at http://www.salleephotography.com/.

Oh, I should mention that I was a tour helper? Along with some other photographer friends. We were responsible for helping set up and break down. It also gave me a chance to talk to JB and DeEtte on a more personal basis. They were so nice and willing to share their knowledge. We will someday get to their two day seminar they offer.

Here is a picture of my fellow photographers, DeEtte, Me and DeEtte's brother and assistant, Ryan.
